October Giveaway, Week 3!

Here's how this week will work. I have three prizes to give away, and the winners will be picked on Friday. First picked gets the first prize in the giveaway, second place gets the second listed, and third gets third.

Clear?

Let's get on with it!

If you've been around this old blog this month, you know that I'm sharing my birthday month good vibes with my readers! And each week keeps getting better!

This week, I'm giving away...

Three quarter-yard cuts of Heather Ross's Far Far Away 2. (Note, NOT FQs, but quarter yard off the bolt.)

A Robert Kauffman roll-up of the Girl Scouts line (perfect for the little Girl Scout in your life!).

And finally, an assortment of patterns from some of my faves, including Me and My Sister Designs, Atkinson Designs, and Cotton Cottage.

How to get a chance at these goodies?

For one entry, leave me a comment. This week: What are your plans for Halloween? Trick or treating with the kids? Staying home to give out candy? Haunted hayrides or masquerade balls? I want to know! I'll be staying home and watching scary movies with the Madman, and giving out candy to protect said big lug from the hordes of goblins and princesses that come marauding through our neighborhood. Last year we went through 5 economy sized bags of candy in just over 2 hours--over 150 kids. WHEW! Going to eat my Wheaties this year!

Want a second entry? Become a follower and leave me a comment letting me know. Already a follower? Leave me a comment saying that, too!

And remember to check back here on Friday for the results!

PS, next week is the last giveaway this month, and I've got some great stuff stashed for you! How do you feel about Denyse Schmidt, Heather Ross and Amy Butler all in one give-away! See you then!

Hi. Thanks for the great giveaway - yet again! I'm over in the UK and halloween is not so big over here. I'm afraid I won't be doing anything special, although will have a bowl of treats for any little callers. C

What a lovely giveaway - again!
In three years in Canberra (Australia's capital city) we've not had a single Halloween trick-or-treater. So we'll probably just be hanging out, and eating the Cherry Ripes I'll buy just-in-case :)

Wow, that is a LOT of candy - and a lot of trick-or-treaters! I'm not really sure of our plans. My son is 2.5 and holidays are a super big deal around here...but he keeps saying that he doesn't want to dress up and doesn't want to go trick-or-treating with his cousins. So we may be on door duty instead.

Oh yes... And I've been a follower for a bit. :)

Thanks for sharing your goodies with us all!

Plans for Halloween? Dressing up the kiddies and going to some "safe" places for them to enjoy the holiday. The weather has turned cooler here which somtimes causes problems with the costumes they'll wear. But oh well - they'll enjoy themselves anyway.

For halloween this year, I will be visiting my son in Switzerland. I don't know that halloween is a holiday there or not, but I don't have to buy any candy this year (good thing since I still have some leftover from last year!) Thanks!

Thanks again, and I am already a follower and would love a chance to win any of the prizes.

This year for Halloween I am going trick or treating with my little nephew! It is his first time, so it should be fun! He is going to be Peter Pan!

My plans for Hallowe'en is to decorate the house in a funky way... I'm still looking for ideas. On Hallowe'en night I am handing out the goodies - I love to see the cute costumes that the kids are wearing.

I have no plans this year for Halloween. Usually I go to a friend's party, but he isn't having one this year. If I'm lucky, I might get to do a little sewing and go to bed early! I know it doesn't sound too special, but I haven't used my machine in weeks and have been working 10 or more hours per day and falling into bed at night so it sounds like a great night to me!

Whoo-hoo another great giveaway. This year is probably the last year my stepdaughter is going around with her friends (she is 12) but my 3 year old is going to go around as Buzz Lightyear. He is super excited about it (he doesn't know the candy part yet just the Buzz part LOL). We usually carve pumpkins and roast the seeds. We live in an upstairs apartment so we never get any kids so any candy we buy goes into our own bellies LOL.

I'm not sure what our Halloween plans are. We'll probably get together with friends, but no trick-or-treating as we live downtown in an apartment. Pretty low-key, though, I'm sure!
