A new week, a new giveaway!

This week, I have two prizes up for grabs!

Here in New England, it's getting a bit chilly at night. Last week, we all talked about what we're looking forward to this fall. Baking, apple-picking, leaf-peeping and decorating for the season were all up there, as was sewing! Glad to know I'm not the only one who doesn't feel much like sewing (and pressing!) in the steamy summers!

Since time is marching rather quickly, it seems, toward the holidays, I thought I'd help you out in that area with this week's give-away!

First up, two charm packs of Fruitcake by BasicGrey.

I love their Christmas lines! You all remember the Figgy Pudding craze last year, right? I am here to tell you that Fruitcake is just as amazing. I'm having a great time working on a hexagon quilt with the jelly roll of Fruitcake that I got recently (pics soon!). I needed to share the Fruitcakey love with the rest of you. (Trust me, this is NOT Grandma's doorstop, bound to be regifted!)

Second prize this week, and just as jolly, is two Moda Turnovers of Sandy Gervais's Crazy Eight!

(Sorry about the lint--oops!)

I admit, I have been hoarding precuts of this line, and found myself with enough for at least three quilts of it. Sounded a little greedy to me, so this would be enough for, say, a nice-sized pinwheel quilt for your bed this season!

Want to know how to get in on this action?

For one chance to win, post a comment and tell me what kinds of seasonal sewing and crafting you're up to!

For a second chance to win, become a follower and leave me a comment telling me. (If you're already a follower, leave a comment and let me know that, too!)

Want TWO more chances? Blog about it, and leave me a comment letting me know!

That's FOUR chances at two great prizes. Not bad odds, eh?

On Friday, I'll use the RNG to pick two winners--first pick will get the charm packs, second will get the turnovers.

Good luck!

I'm afraid I don't do seasonal sewing because I can't be sure I will get it finished in time. Oh, woe is me.

And second - I'm working on too many holiday projects. Lots of gifts for family. Several quilts for great-nieces and nephews, plus some smalls (placemats and runners) for nieces and nephews. The holidays will be here too soon!

I'm busy sparkling up dresses for my little girl when she sings on stage. Also, crocheting ruffles for the bottoms of pants that have gotten too short but still fit! Thanks for the chance to win!

For seasonal quilting this year its all about the Christmas gifts...all of which are quilts. I really should do something smaller..

I'm not doing any seasonal sewing because I'm too slow to match up with the holidays. However, if I won some holiday fabric, I could make do :).

Do Halloween quilts count as seasonal sewing? I have a top I made last year that I'm hoping to quilt before the end of the month. I have FOUR Christmasy tops that still need to be quilted. Yikes!

I haven't been doing much sewing lately, I have been too busy, but I have a new machine and an apple core quilt that I have been wanting to start so I am sure I'll start on that soon.

Thanks!

Right now, I am scrambling to get all those handmade gifts done in time for the holidays. And also working on my Christmas Swap project... whatever that turns out to be. (Obviously, that's in the planning stages still.) Several quilts, a couple of stockings, and some pincushions.

I haven't started the seasonal sewing yet; I'm finishing up a quilt for my newest grandson..just needs squaring and binding now. This autumn weather makes me want to clean and organize and then theres that load of tomatoes to use up...actually I canned them this morning...made chili and spaghetti base sauces so I can check that off. Once I sew again, I have Christmas panels I bought two years ago that need to be made into wallhangings for the married kids. I would also like to make a Christmas runner and tree skirt when the new Christmas fabs hit my fabric store....I'm overwhelming myself just writing about all this! :(

Thanks you for your giveaway. The fabrics look like fun. I'm still working on fall projects and haven't even thought of Christmas ones yet It's probably time to start thinking, though :) Currently I'm quilting a pumpkin/sunflower wall hanging.

It's not seasonal, but lately I've been making crayon rolls and nursing covers as gifts with some great tutorials I've found online. Before Halloween, I plan on making my daughter a new bag for trick or treating.

I'm just now starting a paper-pieced calendar quilt for my daughter for (hopefully) Christmas. It was originally designed as a wall hanging, but she wants it as a lap quilt. So I enlarged the patterns to 8.5 X 11 and will have "frames" around each month. So I guess I have all twelve "seasonl" months in that calendar quilt. Wish me luck - I tend to hate paper-piecing. dmj53(at)hotmail(dot)com

HI. I'm currently working on a quilt for my sister in law for Christmas. I cut all the pieces out today so next onto the piecing. It is a pattern called Jellybean - rectangles in rectangles but slightly different widths make it a bit quirky. C

No seasonal projects this year. Firstly because I only have an hour or two each day to craft & secondly, I just never think of it until like, three weeks beforehand, & then there's not enough time. Maybe someday.

Had good intentions to start a tablerunner for Christmas - but baby showers for 2 grandnieces that are due later this year have intervened temporarily. I just finished hand quilting a baby quilt and moving on to the binding and finishing. Then, can return to the table runner. Of course, if win, will have lots of inspiration to get back to Christmas sewing. Thanks for the lovely giveaway.
